Hi,

I'm Melanie Katelin as you can probably tell already by the name of my blog, inventive right?

I'm studying Fashion Design at University and my goal is to become a designer. I love the feel of fabrics, styles, buttons, zips, they all interest me and I love everything fashion. I'm at my most comfortable when I am on a sewing machine, it takes me to another world and I know what I'm doing which I guess is why I love it so much! I love creating and making and thats what I would like to show on my blog.

I have started a blog mainly because in years to come I want to know what it is that I was thinking at that moment in time and I have fun doing it although I do tend to be useless and not write for a week and the BAMM you get 5 posts from me at once!! Really bad I know. Please don't tell me off. hehe

In this blog I want to write about how I am finding the journey to becoming a Fashion designer, what my projects are like, pictures of my final outcome and anything else fashion based that interests me. I'm also a rather big book worm and I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read so I will try and post book reviews about what it is that I'm reading and I might try to review some of the books from my bookcase!
